The farm produces a large volume of fresh chicken manure every day, with a moisture content of approximately 80%.
For a large poultry farm, directly storing or piling up fresh manure can lead to strong odors, difficult handling, and increased environmental pressure.
The farm needed an efficient chicken manure composting solution that could handle high-moisture manure while providing better odor control and easier daily operation.
To meet the farm's requirements, JinDi provided five 200 m³ Compost Tanks for enclosed high-temperature aerobic fermentation.
The Compost Tank, also known as a Compost Tower or Aerobic Fermentation Tank, provides a controlled environment for poultry manure composting.
Fresh chicken manure is continuously fed into the system.
Inside the tank, automatic mixing and aeration provide the oxygen and suitable conditions required for efficient aerobic fermentation.
The enclosed design helps contain the manure and fermentation exhaust, making it suitable for large-scale poultry farm manure management.

The complete treatment process follows:
Manure Collection → Transportation → Aerobic Fermentation → Deodorization → Organic Fertilizer → Centralized Discharge
During aerobic fermentation, the temperature typically reaches approximately 55–65°C.
The fermentation process helps stabilize the organic matter while gradually reducing the moisture content through evaporation.
After approximately 7 days of fermentation under normal operating conditions, the treated material can be discharged as loose organic fertilizer.
This provides the farm with a practical way to convert chicken manure into organic fertilizer instead of treating it simply as waste.
Odor control is another key requirement for large-scale poultry farms.
For this Vietnam project, JinDi integrated a centralized deodorization system with the Compost Tanks.
The exhaust air generated during the chicken manure composting process is collected and sent to the centralized deodorization system.
The treatment process uses water washing first, followed by chemical washing,
helping reduce ammonia and other odor-causing compounds before the treated air is discharged.
By collecting and treating the exhaust centrally, the system provides an integrated solution for poultry manure odor control.

The project also includes a centralized discharge system for easier handling of the finished organic fertilizer.
After fermentation, the treated material from the Compost Tanks is collected and transferred to a centralized output point.
This design simplifies the organic fertilizer discharge process, reduces manual handling, and makes the finished material easier to collect, transport, or further process.
If required, the finished organic fertilizer can also be connected with additional equipment such as drying, screening, granulation, and fertilizer packaging systems.
